SYNTHETIC ATHLETICS TRACK SURFACES

Today all serious athletics competitions take place on special synthetic surfaces made from resilient polymeric materials. The world governing body of the sport, the IAAF, (International Association of Athletics Federations), lays down the performance specifications for different types of surface construction and certifies qualifying surfaces.

Charles Lawrence Surfaces Ltd has over 30 years experience in designing and constructing polymeric athletics facilities and currently offers surfacing systems that correspond to all three IAAF categories. These are designed to suit the different performance requirements and budgets of schools, clubs, local authorities as well as major competitive venues.

All of our surfaces conform to IAAF standards for use in international competitions and are equally suitable for track surfaces and for field events fans and run-ups.
