Gymsol‚ is a hard wearing and highly versatile polymeric system which can be laid on most existing floors (concrete, asphalt or timber) in indoor sports halls. It provides a continuous, resilient multi-purpose surface suitable for many different sports and a wide range of other indoor activities.
A prefabricated shred-rubber shock pad is bonded to the existing floor and sealed with resin. A self-levelling flow coat of through-coloured polyurethane is then applied, followed by a final textured coat which produces a matt, seamless, slip-resistant surface. Line markings in a similar polyurethane material are painted on as required.

The shock absorbing characteristics of the cushioned structure reduce injuries and increase player comfort. Thickness and construction can be varied to some extent to suit the expected range of activities. There is a wide choice of colours for both the surface and the line markings for different sports. Extra lines can be added at any time.
