Charles Lawrence Surfaces have recently completed the refurbishment of two London athletics tracks used as official training venues for the 2012 Olympics. The tracks utilise two different surface types, a ‘fast’ pre-fabricated surface replicating that used at the main Olympic Park for both able bodied athletes and paralympians, and a slightly softer insitu track more suited to distance training.

Success at the Commonwealth Youth Games

In early 2011 Charles Lawrence Surfaces successfully won the bidding process for the supply and installation of the main playing surface for the Isle of Man Commonwealth Youth Games 2011. The 9,500 square metre facility was to form the lead venue and centrepiece to the games and was also to host the international rugby tournament which formed part of the programme of events.
