TRIUMPH AT TONBRIDGE, REPLACEMENT AT ROWAN'S

Charles Lawrence Surfaces have successfully completed a synthetic pitch replacement at the prestigious private Tonbridge School, Kent.

The now first class facility boasts the latest Tigerturf Evolution onto a superb engineered and Euorpave shockpad base. The old existing dynamic facility, which had admirably served the school, received the face-lift in August this year. The existing carpet, fence and floodlights were all removed, recycled and replaced with a practical and user-friendly design. Masterminded by George Alexander, Director of Grounds, Tonbridge School and Bob Scrivener of The Sports Construction Consultancy.

The predominantly hockey based surface nestles perfectly to the right hand side of the state of the art sports complex built two years ago. The new pitch compliments the existing sporting facilities at Tonbridge School. It has also been kitted out with a new irrigation system to supply water to the surface and simulate the playing characteristics of a water base surface.

Charles Lawrence Surfaces were proud to be part of the scheme and have delivered yet another 1st class facility.
