Charles Lawrence Surfaces Ltd secured one of its largest ever orders during 2008 when it landed Knowsley BSF via main contractors, Balfour Beatty.

The £4 million+ project includes sporting facilities at seven different schools across the borough.

In the late autumn the gauntlet was well and truly laid down when Balfour Beatty asked us to complete a full-size pitch at North Huyton Learning Centre before Christmas! Never one to duck a challenge, Contract Manager, Wayne Sexton gave it his best shot and despite the time of year the pitch was completed in record time on December 23rd.

Charles Lawrence Surfaces have also been selected as sports surfacing specialist on several other BSF/PFI contracts including Bassetlaw,Gateshead,and Sunderland.
