NEW 3G SYNTHETIC GRASS FOOTBALL PITCH AT PLUME SCHOOL
Charles Lawrence Surfaces has recently started work on a new 3G synthetic grass football pitch at Plume School in Malden, Essex. The project exudes quality throughout the specification which includes the top of the range 3G surface Profoot MXS 60 from Lano, laid on to a fully engineered base. The pitch will be constructed to meet the FA performance standards for artificial pitches for community use.
The project managers are Wilby and Burnett who have a wealth of experience in project managing synthetic grass pitches and pavilions in the area.
The scheme which has attracted Football Foundation funding, together with partnership funding from Essex County Council Olympic Legacy, Malden District Council and the Plume School, has a contract value of £600,000 and is due to be completed by the end of the year.
