• This was a project for the YMCA Nottinghamshire in conjunction with Pulse Associates.
  • It involved the creation of a new porous sandwich athletics track with a natural turf in field, a new car park, a pumping house and infrastructure for electrical capacity for future works.
  • All works were completed in a 22 week timescale.
  • Approximately, the project came to the value of £1,727,727.00 + VAT.
  • This was a brand new construction on existing natural playing fields, so a full installation was required the extent of which included excavations, installation of the drainage, sub base kerbs and macadam.

  • New boundary fencing was erected around the perimeter to secure the site.
  • A new floodlighting scheme of a 15m high, 9 columns, 200 lux LED floodlighting scheme for the track, with further lighting to the car park and surrounding area. CCTV was also installed around the site.
  • Additionally, new athletics equipment was installed such as a throwing cage, water jump, long/high jump run up etc.
