Charles Lawrence Surfaces have completed a magnificent set of sports facilities at the newly rebuilt Oxford Academy.
The £850,000 scheme includes a full size floodlit sand dressed pitch, five multi use areas and an indoor 3G pitch enclosed by a 55m x 35m portal frame structure.
Contract Manager, Wayne Sexton says " this prestigious project has been completed all within a programme of a near impossible 11 weeks. This has been made possible by careful planning and the co-operation of both the suppliers and workforce. The end result is a top quality facility that will benefit the school and local community".
The photograph shows the erection of the portal frame structure to the indoor training area.
Charles Lawrence Surfaces undertook the complete 'turnkey' project including all baseworks, erection of the portal frame building, floodlighting, fencing and associated car park works.
